Concept

This 5days journey takes children across the islands of Tanegashima and Yakushima, connected by airplane and ferry.
The adventure begins on Tanegashima, home to Japan's spaceport, where children explore the JAXA Space Center and spark their curiosity for science and the universe.
Then, traveling to Yakushima, Japan's first UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, they step into a world of ancient forests, clear rivers, and vibrant wildlife — discovering the beauty and power of nature.

Designed especially for first-time visitors to Japan, this program helps children connect with nature, science, and culture, while nurturing their curiosity, sensitivity, and friendship through shared adventure and discovery.

JAXA Tanegashima Space Center Tour

JAXA Tanegashima Space Center, Japan’s largest rocket launch site, plays a vital role in the nation’s space exploration projects. JAXA astronauts regularly train and fly with NASA on the International Space Station (ISS), with current examples including Kimiya Yui on a long-duration mission (Expedition 73/74). Visiting the center offers a rare opportunity to witness its impressive scale and experience the excitement of Japan’s space program firsthand.

Engraving the Power of Nature in Our Hearts

Yakushima is an island that captures the essence of Japan’s ecosystems — its sea, forests, rivers, and wildlife. The symbol this island, Yakushima's ancient cedar trees, called yakusugi, are famous for their extreme age, with the most famous, Jōmon Sugi, estimated to be between 2,000 to over 7,000 years old. Stepping into this UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, children experience both the greatness and fragility of nature.

Please note the following:

  • Children will stay in separate accommodations for boys and girls.
  • For our policies regarding safety and health management, as well as measures against sexual misconduct, please refer to the “Support System for Safety and Peace of Mind” page.
  • As the group will travel and participate in activities together, scheduled times and program contents may change depending on progress and weather conditions.
  • If the minimum number of participants is not met, or if operation becomes impossible due to unavoidable circumstances such as disasters or accidents, we may request changes to the program or cancellation no later than 13 days before the start of the trip.
  • Payment must be made by bank transfer. The travel contract will be considered concluded once payment has been transferred and the payment completion email—sent separately—has been received.

Regarding the Cancellation (Termination) of the Travel Contract

How to cancel

  1. Please submit your cancellation request using the Cancellation Form below.
  2. After receiving your request, we will send you a confirmation message via our official WhatsApp account.
  3. We will refund the program fee minus the cancellation fee and the bank transfer fee (330 yen).
