This is Campship Academy's first program using the Shinkansen. Participants were happy to reunite with friends they met over the summer There were many excited looks on the faces of the participants.
After boarding the Shinkansen, everyone enjoyed themselves in their own way. They exchanged sweets, played cards, and played Campship's original word hunt. Even the participants who came alone gradually opened up to each other, and by the time they got off the Shinkansen, they had become good friends!

Many participants came from far away for the Yokoteyama program, and several We decided to meet up with the other participants. The bus split into two groups and headed to Yokoteyama. On the bus, everyone seemed captivated by the scenery, which changed every second. Gradually, the scenery became covered in snow, and we could see flurries of snow as we finally arrived at Shiga Kogen Ski Resort. After a short drive from there, we arrived at Yokoteyama Ski Resort, the highest ski resort in Japan.

We had lunch at Hotel New Yokote where we were staying and started skiing. The weather was a little bad and we were in the middle of a snowstorm, The participants had a blast skiing, and despite the cold weather, they enjoyed skiing with their coaches.
Although many of the participants had never skied before, by the end of the first day we could see them riding the lift, and we were amazed at how quickly they had improved. At dinnertime, some of them said, "Skiing was fun! I can't wait for tomorrow!"

On the second day, we held an original Campship event called the Polar Bear Club, which we invited participants to take part in. The Polar Bear Club involves getting up early and jumping into the first snow of the morning, and perhaps because of the special feeling of jumping into fluffy, untouched snow, many participants gathered every day.
On the second day, each group practiced skiing in preparation for the exam. The advanced group received tips from their coaches on how to improve, and the inexperienced group showed signs of further growth, with everyone riding the lift. The leaders, who had struggled to regain their sense of rhythm on the first day, seemed to gradually become more relaxed. There were many friendly episodes, such as chatting with the other participants while skiing and asking each other questions on the lift.

In addition to the ski lessons, there was free time to ski, play in the snow, make sweet soup, and freeze wet towels before going to bed. The snow activities included snowball fights, sledding, and building snow huts. The room was filled with laughter from the participants. In response to the participants' idea of "I want to ski with friends of different levels!", we considered the safe placement of supervisors and decided to have different ski groups. We were able to make time to ski with the other participants.

And the beloved Tom Cruise often boards the Yokoteyama program. He brought smiles to the faces of the participants. There was a Room Clean Up Award given to the group with the most organized room, and apparently Tom Cruise was seen there too. The winning group was rewarded with a sweets party and the opportunity to drop the leader into the snow, so The participants seemed to be trying harder than usual to keep their rooms clean.

The four days went by in a flash, and on the final day we finished skiing in the morning and left Yokoteyama by bus. Tired from the four days, All the participants and leaders slept soundly.

I bought some souvenirs at the station and got on the Shinkansen. We could hear the participants' happy voices. We also heard some who said they didn't want to go home yet. They told the leader about passing the ski proficiency test and their memories of the camp. There were some participants.
Yokoteyama Ski Program participated All the leaders hope that this will remain a memorable page for the participants, and we look forward to seeing each other again when we have grown as individuals.
