Why did you decide to include your child in an overnight nature experience?
I work full-time and it's difficult to create opportunities for my children to be exposed to nature and the outside world on a daily basis, so I became interested in overnight nature experiences.
My child is a little cautious, and it takes him a while to get used to new environments and interacting with people at first. However, I hope that by interacting with children other than his usual elementary school friends, he will develop his social skills and learn to live in a group, and that by staying overnight he will be able to expand his own abilities.
We hoped that through this experience, the children would gain the confidence to try new things while interacting with nature.

Daughter: "I want to participate because I want to get better at skiing. I want to try and see if I can do it by myself without my mom!"
I said, "That sounds like a great challenge. Not only will you get to practice skiing, but you might even make some new friends and have a great chance to test your abilities.
Daughter: "I'm a little worried, but I'm more excited than anything. I feel like I can do my best!"
Me: "That's reassuring. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask a leader right away. Mom is rooting for you and looking forward to seeing you grow."
My daughter's desire to do it was the deciding factor .
How did your child do after the program ended?
After the program, my daughter looked very happy. "I can skate better than before!" she said, and seemed very proud to have realized her own improvement.
They also said, "It was fun playing house together!" and it was impressive to see them enjoying activities with their friends. It felt like they also learned the importance of friendship and cooperation through the program.
