The Concept of This Program

「英語を学ぶ」から「英語で生きる」へ。雪山で過ごす4日間が、英語もスキーも「もっとやりたい！」に変えていきます。

「英語を勉強はしているけれど、実際に使う機会がない」「いざとなると言葉が出てこない」そんな子どもたちが、英語との距離を縮め、自分自身の言葉として使いこなすための4日間。それがCAMPSHIP ACADEMYのEnglish Campです。

2026年冬の舞台は、日本でも有数の雪質を誇る長野県・志賀高原。標高の高さが生み出すさらさらのパウダースノー、白銀のゲレンデ、そしてスキー場に隣接するロッジでの共同生活。そこには、北米や欧州のウィンターキャンプを彷彿とさせる「本物の非日常」が広がっています。

このキャンプの最大の目的は、机上の学習では決して得られない「生きた英語の体感」です。スタッフと一緒にゲレンデを滑り、リフトに乗り、同じテーブルを囲む。「Follow me!」「Let's go one more time!」――滑りたい、伝えたいという気持ちが、自然と英語を引き出します。勇気を出して口にした英語が相手に伝わり、笑顔が返ってくる。この「通じた！」という成功体験の積み重ねが、英語への心理的ハードルを取り払い、子どもたちの自信へと変わっていきます。

もちろん、スキーの上達もこのキャンプの大切な目標です。初めてスキーに挑戦する子も、昨シーズンからさらに上達したい子も、レベル別のグループに分かれて、リーダーや仲間とたくさん滑ります。急な斜面に挑む場面では「You can do it!」と励まし合い、滑りきったら「I did it!」とハイタッチ。心が動き、夢中になって体を使って覚えた英語は、単なる知識としてではなく、楽しかった記憶とともに深く刻み込まれた「一生モノの言葉」となります。

英語の距離をゼロにする4日間の接触時間

朝の「Good morning!」から、ゲレンデでの滑走、リフトの待ち時間、ロッジでの食事、夜の振り返りまで。スキーの時間そのものが英語の時間になるからこそ、4日間で圧倒的な接触時間が生まれます。緊張していた初日が嘘のように「英語での生活」が当たり前になり、英語を聞くことへの抵抗感がなくなって、自然な発話へとつながります。

テキストにはない「生きた英語」

「Follow me!」「Watch out!」「One more run!」――ゲレンデやリフトの上では、テキストにはない、その場その瞬間の「生きた英語」が飛び交います。一緒に滑るスタッフの真似をして口に出し、「もっと滑りたい！」という自分の気持ちが伝わる喜びを体験することで、英語が「勉強」から「身近な相棒」へと進化します。

通いの英語プログラムとは異なる「24時間の自立と共生」

レッスンが終われば日本語に戻る「通い」とは違い、キャンプは24時間すべてが学びの場。スキー道具の準備も、ロッジでの生活も、仲間と協力しながら自分たちの手で。慣れない雪山で助け合い、その日の滑りを語り合う経験が、語学力だけでなく、これからの時代に必要な「生きる力」を育みます。

たっぷり滑走、とにかくスキーを楽しむ！

本プログラムは「たっぷり滑走コース」の1コースで実施します。レッスン中心ではなく、キャンプシップアカデミーのリーダーや仲間と一緒に、それぞれのレベルに合わせてたくさん滑ります。シーズンのはじめにスキーの楽しさを思いきり味わい、「もっと滑りたい！」と思えることを大切にしています。

極上のパウダースノーを体験しよう

標高の高さと気候が作り出す高品質なパウダースノー！さらさらでふわふわの雪を堤能して思う存分滑ろう！

初心者にもぴったりのロング緩斜面

横手山には、初心者でも安心して練習しやすい広く緩やかなゲレンデがあります。未経験のお子様も、まずは止まり方や曲がり方などの基本を身につけ、少しずつ実際に滑る経験を増やしていきます。

経験者も楽しめる多彩なコース

横手山・渋峠には、初心者向けの緩やかなゲレンデだけでなく、中・上級者も楽しめる変化に富んだコースが揃っています。お子様のレベルに合わせて滑走エリアを選び、上達すればさらに新しいコースへ。「次はあそこを滑ってみたい！」と、レベルに応じて新しい挑戦を楽しめるのも横手山・渋峠の魅力です。

営業終了後のゲレンデで、雪上ワイドゲーム！

ゲレンデ隣接のロッジだからこそ、スキー場の営業終了後も雪山での時間は続きます。広い雪上を舞台に、仲間と作戦を立てながらチームで挑むワイドゲームを開催！雪の上を走り回ったり、雪合戦や雪遊びを楽しんだり、スキーだけでは終わらない、横手山ならではの雪山体験を楽しみます。

ゲレンデ隣接のロッジ

宿を出ればすぐにゲレンデ。移動時間がないぶん、滑る時間を最大限に確保できます。疲れたら宿に戻って休めるのも安心です。

Children will stay in gender-separated rooms.
For details regarding our safety and health management policies—including our approach to preventing sexual misconduct—please refer to the Safety and Support System page.

As the program involves group travel and group activities, scheduled times and content may change depending on progress, weather, or other conditions.

If the minimum number of participants is not met, or if the program cannot operate due to natural disasters, accidents, or other unavoidable circumstances, we may need to modify or cancel the program. In such cases, notice will be provided no later than 13 days prior to the start date of the trip.

Payment will be made by bank transfer. Your travel contract will be considered finalized once we receive your payment and you have received the payment confirmation email.

Before submitting your application, please carefully read the General Terms and Conditions of Travel (Package Tours) and the Domestic Package Tour Terms and Conditions.

You may cancel your travel contract at any time by paying the cancellation fee specified in the Cancellation Policy.

How to cancel

  1. Please submit your cancellation request using the Cancellation Form below.
  2. After receiving your request, we will send you a confirmation message via our official WhatsApp account.
  3. We will refund the program fee minus the cancellation fee and the bank transfer fee (330 yen).
