Yatsugatake & Kiyosato | Summer Classic Athletics & Water Gun 3 Days

This camp is perfect for those who want to experience—or provide—a truly “summer-like” adventure, packing three days full of activities that are hard to enjoy in everyday life, such as athletics, outdoor cooking, campfires, roasted marshmallows, water gun play, and crafts. In addition to planned activities, children will also explore their curiosity through free play like searching for insects, observing plants, and gathering around the fire.

Participants come from a wide range of age groups. At first, older children may see younger ones as immature, while younger children may find older ones intimidating. However, through living together in Campship’s culture—where “everyone is equal” and “taking leadership is valued”—these perspectives gradually change. Children begin to recognize their own roles within the group and develop respect for others who are different from themselves. These changes are what truly foster growth.

Everyone enjoys nature in their own way. Many children who join our camps lead busy, time-structured lives in their daily routines. With a comfortable climate that stays below 30°C even during the day, children can fully immerse themselves in nature—feeling its scents and sounds while moving their bodies freely. Looking up at the sky, the clouds seem closer than usual, and the only sounds are insects and birds. Free from structured activities or special equipment, this environment—far from the noise of the city—offers the true luxury of simply playing to the fullest.
