<Spring is the perfect time to "Discover, choose, and improve your own skiing" - Campship Academy Ski Program Series>
This program is a three-day, two-night step-up ski camp that can be enjoyed by participants of all levels, from children who are skiing for the first time to those who want to gradually improve their skills.
Many families feel anxious, wondering, "My child is a beginner, will he be okay?" or "Will he be able to keep up with experienced children?" At this camp, we place importance on "ways to enjoy and challenge ourselves that are suited to each child's level."
Spring is the season when the slopes are less crowded and the snow quality is more stable. It's easy to ski at your own pace and it's easy to get back up if you fall. It's the perfect environment for beginners to try out the slopes with confidence, and for experienced skiers to review the basics and take their skills to the next level.
While skating, children are divided into groups based on their level and experience, and goals are set for each stage. First-time children will learn the basics, such as how to stop and turn, while building up the experience of success by "skating on their own." Experienced children will focus on their form and stability as they attempt to skate more smoothly and safely.
We create time for each person to realize that they have made progress since yesterday and that they have taken on a courageous challenge. The goal is for these experiences to lead to a sense of self-affirmation, such as "I can do it" and "I want to try again."
During the program, in addition to ski practice, there is also free time set aside for each participant to play in the snow, make sweet soup with friends, or enjoy free time of their own choosing, creating opportunities to foster independence and cooperation. Spending time laughing and helping each other with friends leads to growth not only in skills but also in the heart. This unique time spent at camp is an important element of this program.
Spend three days and two nights at a lodge next to the slopes. Whether you're a skier or just starting out, you can progress at your own pace on this spring snowy mountain trip. We hope you return home feeling a sense of accomplishment and a desire to try again next time.
