<Springtime Campship Academy Snowboard Program Series: "Discover, Choose, and Improve Your Snowboarding">
This program is a three-day, two-night snowboarding camp for children who are new to snowboarding or are at an intermediate level.
"Will I be able to stand?" "It will hurt if I fall?" "What if I'm the only one who can't do it?" Children trying snowboarding for the first time are filled with excitement but also with anxiety. At this camp, we aim to remove those anxieties one by one and help the children discover the joy of snowboarding.
Spring snowy mountains are less crowded and the snow is soft, making them the perfect environment for a first attempt. Even if you fall, it's less painful, and you can try again and again without worrying about your surroundings. This is why you can "give it a try" without fear of failure.
The program doesn't start with you skiing straight away. First, you'll slowly learn how to hold the skis, how to put them on, and how to stand up. Next, you'll get used to using one foot on the ski, learn how to stop, and gradually increase the amount of time you spend standing on the slope.
"At first I stayed seated," "Then I stood up," "I made some progress" - cherish each step and before you know it, you will be skating under your own power. That is the process we aim for in this camp.
Children with experience will review the basics and try to slide steadily and make turns. By deciding together with the child which slope to try and how far to slide, the experience of success will help build confidence.
During the program, in addition to snowboarding practice, there is also free time set aside for each participant to play in the snow, make sweet red bean soup, or enjoy free time with friends, creating opportunities for them to develop independence and teamwork.
Spending time with friends over three days and two nights will allow you to laugh, help each other, and acknowledge your accomplishments. An important goal of this camp is not just to improve your skills, but also to foster a sense of self-esteem through the program. Why not experience this spring a time that will leave you with confidence and a positive attitude that will last even after you leave the snowy mountains?
