The Concept of This Program

This program is a spring challenge camp set in the rural mountain area of ​​Nagusa, Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, and is open to anyone, even those who have never stayed overnight away from their parents.

Nagusa is a place where Campship Academy began its involvement after a certain encounter in 2024. Despite facing social issues such as an aging population and labor shortages, we hit it off with the local people who are trying to preserve and pass on the good old traditions and customs of the Satoyama area, and have since built a relationship through cleanup activities and programs.

The two-day, one-night program is safe for first-time participants, and through extraordinary experiences such as bonfires, cooking, and art workshops, it stimulates curiosity and fosters the sense of independence that comes from being away from home.

Nagusa is a place where the mountains, rivers, and fields are closely connected, and where the scenery of old Japanese satoyama remains, where people's lives coexist with nature.

The concept of this challenge camp is to value the sense of accomplishment that comes from taking on new challenges, and to increase self-esteem.

With the cooperation of local people, we created handmade items that connect people and offer experiences that can only be had in spring.

里山の大自然が遊びのフィールド

宿泊場所から歩いて行ける場所に山・川・畑が広がり、澄んだ空気が流れています。今回はそんな里山全体がキャンプのフィールド。贅沢な環境で五感をフル活用し、生き物探し、食事づくり、制作活動、焚き火など、さまざまな体験を通じて好奇心を解放します。

廃校を活用した宿泊施設での共同生活

今回は旧学校がリノベーションされた宿泊施設を貸切利用します。広い校庭、体育館が使い放題、校舎に寝泊まりするワクワク感など、子どもたちの好奇心を掻き立てる環境で、自分たちで考えて遊ぶ「余白」を大切にします。

「名草ちっとファーム」で動物と触れ合う

宿泊拠点のすぐ横にある『名草ちっとファーム』では、ヤギとニワトリに触れ合うことができます。餌やりも体験できます。エリア中央には大きな桜の木があり、子どもたちは自由に木登りを楽しめます。

Children will stay in gender-separated rooms.
For details regarding our safety and health management policies—including our approach to preventing sexual misconduct—please refer to the Safety and Support System page.

As the program involves group travel and group activities, scheduled times and content may change depending on progress, weather, or other conditions.

If the minimum number of participants is not met, or if the program cannot operate due to natural disasters, accidents, or other unavoidable circumstances, we may need to modify or cancel the program. In such cases, notice will be provided no later than 13 days prior to the start date of the trip.

Payment will be made by bank transfer. Your travel contract will be considered finalized once we receive your payment and you have received the payment confirmation email.

Application & Terms of Service

Before submitting your application, please carefully read the General Terms and Conditions of Travel (Package Tours) and the Domestic Package Tour Terms and Conditions.

You may cancel your travel contract at any time by paying the cancellation fee specified in the Cancellation Policy.

How to cancel

  1. Please submit your cancellation request using the Cancellation Form below.
  2. After receiving your request, we will send you a confirmation message via our official WhatsApp account.
  3. We will refund the program fee minus the cancellation fee and the bank transfer fee (330 yen).
