The Concept of This Program

In collaboration with Shinshu Azumino Friend Farm, a fruit farm in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, participants will have the opportunity to experience peach and corn harvesting, eat raw peaches, and observe apple harvesting. This program also includes a full-scale camping experience with tent pitching and overnight stays, plus a trip to the popular riverside spot, Karasugawa Valley, where participants can enjoy swimming in the cool waters of the melting snow from the Northern Alps. This program allows participants to fully experience nature.

This program is one in the Campship Academy's "Learn with your Five Senses Farm Experience" series, and places importance on fostering an interest in agriculture and food as a "formative experience" for children by providing opportunities not only to harvest but also to learn about the growing process and to come into contact with the farmers' thoughts.For example, "What shape is an apple tree?", "What color are apple blossoms?", and "What happens to bruised apples?" These simple questions will ignite children's "curiosity."

Food education through an ongoing and connected experience

Rather than experiencing agriculture as isolated moments, participants learn the entire process as a continuous journey. This helps children develop a “foundational experience” that fosters an understanding of farmers’ dedication and a deeper interest in food.

Experiencing various fruits in the Fruit Kingdom

You can experience with all five senses how crops such as apples, peaches, blueberries, cherries, corn, and chestnuts change their form with each season until they are harvested.

Open-air activities and experiences unique to the countryside

Participants can explore a maze-like farm, sketch with the Alps as a backdrop, and enjoy athletic activities in a vast park—bringing their own ideas of “what they want to do” into reality with complete creative freedom.

River activities in mountain streams fed by water from the Northern Alps

At Karasugawa Valley, a popular river play spot, children can enjoy playing in the cool, refreshing waters fed by snowmelt from the Northern Alps. Activities are conducted with thorough safety measures, including trained staff supervision and mandatory use of life jackets to ensure a safe and secure experience.

Authentic camping experience: pitching a tent from scratch

Children will set up tents from scratch and go camping. Using a manual created for children, they will work with their peers to pitch tents, fostering cooperation. Through the camping process, they will experience collaboration with their peers and a sense of accomplishment.

Important Information

Children will stay in gender-separated rooms.
For details regarding our safety and health management policies—including our approach to preventing sexual misconduct—please refer to the Safety and Support System page.

As the program involves group travel and group activities, scheduled times and content may change depending on progress, weather, or other conditions.

If the minimum number of participants is not met, or if the program cannot operate due to natural disasters, accidents, or other unavoidable circumstances, we may need to modify or cancel the program. In such cases, notice will be provided no later than 13 days prior to the start date of the trip.

Payment will be made by bank transfer. Your travel contract will be considered finalized once we receive your payment and you have received the payment confirmation email.

Application & Terms of Service

Before submitting your application, please carefully read the General Terms and Conditions of Travel (Package Tours) and the Domestic Package Tour Terms and Conditions.

You may cancel your travel contract at any time by paying the cancellation fee specified in the Cancellation Policy.

How to cancel

  1. Please submit your cancellation request using the Cancellation Form below.
  2. After receiving your request, we will send you a confirmation message via our official WhatsApp account.
  3. We will refund the program fee minus the cancellation fee and the bank transfer fee (330 yen).
