Why did you decide to include your child in an overnight nature experience?
I'm a little shy and timid, so I decided to participate in the program because I wanted to help my child gain confidence by living a life without relying on his parents. I'm also very attracted to the fact that I can go to places that are difficult for my parents to take me to, such as Tokashiki Island (24 Summer Program), skiing (24 Winter Program), and experiencing the countryside (25 Spring Program).
Why did you choose Campship Academy?
The first program I participated in (on Tokashiki Island) was introduced to me by an acquaintance and I found it very enjoyable, so I am not considering any other services besides Campship Academy.
What kind of conversation did you have with your child when they first joined?
I asked him, "Do you want to go on a trip with your sister?" He is the type of person who is hesitant to try new things, but he decided he would be happy to go if it was with his sister.
How did your child do after the program ended?
He looked a little worried before he left, but when he returned he had a bright smile on his face and said, "It was fun! I'll come again next time," which made me feel relieved.
Please tell us if there are any aspects of Campship Academy that you feel are uniquely good.
I think it's really great that the students live in a vertically structured environment and learn how to help each other through their own experiences.
