4 Nights 5 Days Okinawa - Tokashiki Island Program
Mother of a second-grade girl from Tokyo

Why did you decide to include your child in an overnight nature experience?

I'm a bit laid back and like to go at my own pace, so I decided to participate in the program in the hope that it would help me become more independent.
I also find it very appealing that we can go to places that are difficult for parents to take us to, such as Tokashiki Island, skiing, and rural mountain experiences.

Why did you choose Campship Academy?

The first program I participated in through an acquaintance's introduction (24th Summer Program on Tokashiki Island) was so much fun that I'm not considering any other services besides Campship.

What kind of conversation did you have with your child when they first joined?

At first, I asked, "Would you like to go on a sleepover with just the kids?" Since it was just her siblings, there seemed to be little anxiety, and my daughter didn't seem to be resistant. She was positive from the start.

How did your child do after the program ended?

Every time on the way home, they ask me, "When can we go again?" It seems they really enjoy the program.

Please tell us if there are any aspects of Campship Academy that you feel are uniquely good.

I think it's really great that the students live in a vertically structured environment and learn how to help each other through their own experiences.
