self-introduction
My name is Saito Moeka. I am currently aiming to become a physical education teacher with two goals: to popularize sports for people with disabilities, and to provide children with the value of participating in sports, even in this age of social media. Since my first year of university, I have been volunteering to teach athletics and swimming to children with disabilities.
Influenced by my father, who was good at sports, I have been involved in a variety of sports since I was little, including cheerleading, tennis, basketball, and track and field.
Currently, I specialize in track and field (long distance block) at Kokushikan University, and mainly compete in relay races and individual 5000m competitions. I love music.
I'm good at making people laugh ☀️
I have obtained general emergency medical care (including emergency medical care courses) and three pharmaceutical certifications.
I am really looking forward to seeing the children's smiles and growth through this program! I will do my best to support them! Thank you for your support ☀️
What I want to achieve in the future
I want to incorporate sports for people with disabilities into the health and physical education curriculum!
In recent years, the number of children who are unaware of sports for people with disabilities has been increasing. In my personal opinion, I believe that the reason for the low awareness rate is that sports for people with disabilities are not included in the curriculum in schools, and there is no place to learn about them. The opinion of one university student may be small, but I believe that in the future, we can definitely make a difference.
motto
A smile is made by smiling. This is a phrase I received from my mentor, and it has been a lifesaver for me. If your child gets lonely and starts crying, I'll definitely make them laugh, so leave it to me! ✨
