Ibuki Hosonuma
Nice to meet you! I'm Ibu Hosonuma, the leader of the campship! I'm a second-year student at Tsuda University.
My camp name is Mayuyu!
I am currently studying international relations, majoring in English and French. In my second year of university, I studied abroad in the UK. There, I also had the opportunity to interact with children, and I realized that the places where children experience nature at a young age are very different between Japan and overseas.
I believe that Campship can bridge this gap by allowing children to experience nature firsthand through its programs, which they would not normally experience in their daily lives. When I first participated in Campship's Yatsugatake program in the summer of 2023, I felt that not only was I able to witness the children learning, but that I also learned a lot. Because it was such a valuable experience for me, I have decided to continue volunteering. As a leader, I will do my best to give the children natural experiences and interactions with people of different ages that they would not normally experience in their daily lives, and to help them feel their own significant growth through living together! ✊🏻☺️
My motto is "To be a charming person with many talents!"
This is a phrase that my high school homeroom teacher, who was my mentor, used to say, and whenever I'm unsure whether to take on a challenge, I always remember these words and motivate myself by saying, "This challenge will also become a part of my life someday!"
I want to develop many new skills through the encounters and experiences I have on this camp ship! To become a charming person!
