Yui Ishiguro
Nice to meet you! I'm Ishiguro Yui.
I learned about this initiative through an acquaintance, and I strongly sympathized with the philosophy, so I decided to participate and wanted to help out!
My sister runs a company where I often volunteer as a student, playing with children in the great outdoors, so I'm great at having fun with everyone!
I also eat more than anyone else! Lately, I've been looking forward to eating sweets with the children during the program.
I hope to use my natural cheerfulness to blow away any anxieties of the participating children and do my best to support them! Thank you for your support!
A place where you can quickly become friends regardless of your age, gender, upbringing, or background.
As you get older, you will probably have fewer experiences like this, but at CA, the children and leaders all naturally become one.
I think the unique charm of this program is that not only the children but also the leaders can become friends with each other!
Having a campfire with the children at the 2012 Summer Program @ Nasu Koshi.
As I watched the crackling fire, I played the guitar I had taught myself at the time and sang Kaiju no Hanauta together. I remember being deeply moved by the sight of everyone smiling and enjoying themselves as they sang, a sight I would never have seen if I hadn't been a CA leader.
I want to remember the feelings I had that day and be proud of myself as a leader.
