Self-introduction

Nice to meet you! I'm Mai Mitsui.
I'm a third-year university student who was born in Malaysia and grew up in the US and Japan 🌱

I'd love to say that my connection with nature is super deep, but honestly, I haven't had much contact with it recently 😢
However, when I was little, my family and I went camping and visited national parks a lot, so I had many opportunities to be exposed to nature. I'm not even bothered by bugs, so I want to have a blast with the kids in nature!

At university, I'm researching how children can learn languages "enjoyably," and I'm constantly exploring what "enjoyment" really means. For my part-time job, I assist at an English school, and I'm dedicated to creating an environment where children can grow freely and authentically. I hope to apply that experience to this camp too!

Through this camp, I want to watch the children challenge themselves and grow in nature, and I also want to learn a lot myself. Thank you!
