Hello! Campship Academy I'm Hosoda, a co-founder. I've been involved with many children since the first program started two years ago, but starting this summer (2025), I've been devoting 100% of my time to Campship Academy.
Going back a little, two years ago, as a parent, I was a little worried about how my children should spend their summer holidays. I wanted them to have experiences they could only have now, in nature with friends. At the same time, in a world where heatstroke alerts are constantly sounding, many children spend the whole day in air-conditioned spaces. While feeling frustrated as a parent, my own past experiences led me to believe that summer camps, which are more common in the West, should be more prevalent in Japan.
Through summer camps, Knowing diversity and knowing that it's okay to be diverse yourself. Knowing this, you can live confidently and be yourself. The happiness that comes from delving into a variety of interests, and the successful experience of making friends and having fun in a completely new environment . I wanted to create a place that provides children with formative experiences that will help them grow, even if it means going through some tough times. Campship Academy was born after many such conversations with my co-founder, Tom . I'm sure each child will have different feelings about it, but it's a special place they'll want to return to . I hope Campship will become that kind of place for the children who participate , and I'd like to continue creating great programs! Thank you for your support!
